Project Overview

Wall and sound insulation solution for the middle school bandroom, following the successful high school bandroom project.

After the successful completion of the high school bandroom project, ISKL commissioned us to implement a similar acoustic solution for their middle school bandroom. The facility required complete sound isolation to prevent disruption to neighboring classrooms during music practice. Key challenges included: - Sound pressure from various musical instruments during practice sessions - Structure-borne vibration transmission through walls - Need to match the successful approach from the high school project - Coordination with school operations during installation

Building on our experience with the high school bandroom, we implemented a proven multi-layer soundproofing system optimized for the middle school space. **Wall Treatment:** - SG-E17 composite boards installed on all walls - SG-DM102 vibration damping mat as a supplementary layer - Strategic isolation from the existing structure **Acoustic Finishing:** - AcousPanel polyester fibre panels for internal reverberation control - Color options selected to create an inspiring learning environment
